As a powerful tool against bullying, BJJ coaches are working together as an alliance to bring attention to the problem in our local communities. Participating schools will get funds for scholarships so they may provide targeted children with FREE BJJ classes and uniforms at the closest BJJ studio.
At the Florida State Finals in Orlando in November 2024, schools that enter at least thirty competitors throughout the season will be eligible to receive scholarship funding. The more competitors a school brings in, the more funding the local school will receive proportionally..
Compete and show your support for the idea that BJJ can transform our communities, schools, and lives by empowering children.
CURRENT FUNDRAISER: $1,280
Coaches: Make sure you participate in as many tournaments as you can in a single season to be eligible for the scholarship awards.
Autographed Bully Patrol shirts by Gordon Ryan and Nicholas Meregali will be raffled at our Florida BJJ League events and all proceeds will go towards the scholarship fund for participating schools to provide free tuition and gis for children that have been bullied in your communities.
Are any of your friends being bullied at school? Are you aware of what you can do?
1) Give your friends a helping hand and let them know they can count on you.
2) Watch out for leaving your friends unattended in any areas of the school.
3) Speak with your teachers.
4) Talk with your parents.
5) Invite your friends to join you for BJJJ lessons by speaking with your instructor and arranging a trial class.
Even though it seems small, you could forever change some of your friend's life.
